Graphic Design

Graphic Design focuses on the application of artistic and computer techniques to the interpretation of technical and commercial concepts. Students learn to use professional, industry-standard software (Adobe) design software to create digital drawings, logos, advertisements, and more. Coursework focuses on concepts in color theory, imaging, typography, studio technique, still and life modeling, multimedia applications, digital photography, desktop publishing, multimedia and animation. Students have the opportunity to create a portfolio for admission to college Graphic Design and Art programs. Students may earn up to 6 credits from CSN for Graphic Design Program coursework.
