Computer Science

Computer Science is a rigorous program that involves the study of computers and programing languages. Students develop a strong foundation in key computer science topics including include theory of computation, fundamentals of computer science, compliers and operating systems, information theo-ry, basic programming, systems and architecture, software development and testing, web applications and databases, algorithms and data structures, and principles of computer hardware. Graduates are prepared for entry-level jobs in software development or entry in an institution of higher education. Stu-dents may earn up to 6 credits from CSN for Computer Science Program coursework.
