The PSAT is a standardized test that is given to both 10th and 11th graders in the Clark County School District.
The PSAT exam will be given on October 13, 2021, from 7:30 AM until 11:00 AM. All 10th graders are required to take the exam. Students in the 11th grade must sign up and pay $20.00 in order to take the exam. Students can either pay with the banker or go on-line to pay for the exam.
The exam is an excellent opportunity for students to practice taking the ACT or SAT exam which is needed for graduation, and entrance into many colleges and universities. The PSAT can help students to qualify for the National Merit Scholarship, and other scholarship opportunities. Lastly, many colleges recruit students based off of the PSAT.
For more information contact Ms. Ibarra in the counseling office or visit the ATECH website or Canvas Counseling Page to learn more about becoming a National Merit Scholar and to receive study aides for the PSAT exam. Students must pay by September 13th if they are interested in taking the exam. It is free for 10th graders.
